Ich bin ja seit Reisebeginn offiziell Kraftwerkstechniker. Direkt vor meiner Abfahrt habe ich meinen Bachelor abgeschlossen und damit meinen ersten (Mini-)Abschluss. Wird mir jetzt erst bewusst. Wobei ich vor lauter Reisevorbereitungen vergessen habe, mir dafür Belohnungen abzuholen ;) Nichtsdestotrotz oder gerade deswegen (oder glücklicherweise immer noch?) ist mein Interesse an Kraftwerken ungebrochen. Auf meinem Weg habe ich bisher bestimmt ein halbes Dutzend der folgenden Kraftwerke gesehen.
Since the start of my trip I am officially a power plant engineer. I finished my bachelors thesis and with this I have my first degree. Its kind of a revelation, now that I think of it. But I forgot to get any presents, beeing busy with all the travel preparations ;) Nevertheless or thankfully still I am interested in power plants. On my trip Ive seen about half a dozen of these power plants.
Desde el comienzo de
este viaje, oficialmente terminé la tesis y obtuve el pre-grado en ingeniería
industrial con enfoque en plantas generadoras y hasta ahora me cae el veinte que
con todos los preparativos para el viaje, olvidé recoger mis reconocimientos ;)
Por suerte, o
todavía o de hecho dado mis estudios, aún tengo interés en las plantas de
energía. En el camino he visto una docena de estas plantas.
Das sind Öl- und Gaskraftwerke. Wenn ich mal erklären soll wie diese funktionieren, einfach fragen, wenn ich ein Stift und Papier zur Hand habe.

Richtig, der Titel des Blogeintrags verrät die Antwort: Ein Kraftwerk. Zwischen Strand, Beachvolleyballfeldern und Schönheiten in Bikinis (habe ich keine Fotos gemacht, bevor die Frage aufkommt) steht ein Kraftwerk. Ich glaube ich weiß wo ich mal arbeiten will ;)
Right, the titel of this entry kinda gives it away: A power plant. Between the beach, beach volley ball fields and beauties in bikinis (no pictures, sorry, I am a german gentleman) there is a power plant. I think I know where I want to work some day ;)
Pues bueno, el título de la entrada al blog ya revela la respuesta. Es una planta generadora. Entre la playa, las canchas de voleibol y las bellezas en bikini (antes de que me las pidan, ¡no tomé fotos!) está la planta generadora. Creo que ya tengo una idea de en dónde quiero trabajar después ;)
Wobei es amerikanische Kraftwerkstechniker anscheinend auch nicht immer leicht haben, wenn sie solche Plakate aufhängen müssen. Wie heißt es so schön? Hinter jeder Warnung steht eine Geschichte. Dafür müssen sich Kraftwerkstechniker in den USA aber auch nicht mit Besuchern wie mir rumplagen. Es ist nahezu unmöglich ein Kraftwerk in den USA zu betreten, da Kraftwerke als terroristische Anschlagsziele in Betracht kommen. Egal wie sympathisch ich bin, niemand hat mich bisher irgendwo eingelassen. :(
But american power plant engineers dont only have an easy life, if they have to write stuff like that on there billboards. What is the saying? Behind every warning is a story? On the other side they dont have to care about visitors. Its next to impossible to visit an american power plant, simply because the plants are considered vital points that come in question for a terroristic attack. No matter how likeable I am, so far no one let me in. :(
Al parecer los ingenieros norteamericanos no siempre la tienen fácil, si señales como la anterior, tienen que ser puestas. ¿Qué dice? Detrás de cada advertencia hay una historia. Por esto los ingenieros de aquí no se inmutan con visitantes como yo. Es casi imposible visitar una de estas plantas en EUA ya que pueden ser blanco de ataques terroristas. Sin importer cual simpático soy no me han permitido entrar.
